CardioDontics.... The begining

There have been hundreds of articles in the medical literature that show that periodontal disease is a risk factor for heart attacks, low birth weight infants, and diabetes. They talk about this connection on "The View" and Oprah Winfrey. I wrote a book about it.

Why don't more people know about this connection? More importantly, why don't more dentists? Finally, why doesn't the dental society do something about this?
